Although Just over 127 years old Hopwas Methodist Chapel can still  be described as the perfect country chapel.

And can only be seen as a clean and bright place of worship and full of welcome, a place that reflects the true beauty of Holiness.

Standing in the heart of the village of Hopwas in Hints Road and situated between the River Tame & the busy Canal.

Our style of worship could be described as traditional with a strong leaning towards singing Gods praises.

Our services our held at 10-45 am on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month and at 6-15 pm on the 2nd & 4th Sunday, When there is a 5th Sunday in the month we share worship with our Anglican friends from St Chads.

We have a strong Saturday Fellowship usually held on the 1st Saturday evening of each month.

Our ladies have their fellowship on the 2nd Monday evening each month, and the men hold their fellowship evening on the 3rd Monday all with either entertainment or a speaker of interest.

Our luncheon club which is called ‘Snack & Chat’ in on the1st Thursday each moth at 12 noon and is always a great time of fellowship. We always make visitors welcome.

The local W.I meet in the school room on a monthly basis.

The beautiful interior of the chapel lends itself to country style weddings seating for up to 100 and the lawned garden at the rear of the chapel backing onto the canal is wonderful for photos.

Baptisms can be conducted at times to be arranged, either as part of one of our service or separately as a private function.

We are justly proud of our chapel and its history and invite you to any of our services or functions.

For wedding and baptisms contact the minister to arrange a look around and discuss fees.
