Hopwas Methodist Chapel is a peaceful and traditional English country chapel.  It is over 125 years old, and is situated in the heart of the village of Hopwas in Hints Road between the River Tame & the busy Canal.

We are a friendly congregation, extending a warm welcome to visitors.  Our style of worship is traditional, with an emphasis on singing God’s praises, and listening to God’s word.

Our services our held at 10-45 am on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month and at 6-15 pm on the 2nd & 4th Sunday, When there is a 5th Sunday in the month we share worship with our Anglican friends from St Chads.

We have a strong Saturday Fellowship usually held on the 1st Saturday evening of each month.

Our ladies have their fellowship on the 2nd Monday evening each month, and the gentlemen hold their fellowship evening on the 3rd Monday all with either entertainment or a speaker of interest.

Our luncheon club is called ‘Snack & Chat’ and is on the1st Thursday of each month at 12 noon and is always a great time of fellowship. We always make visitors welcome.

The local W.I meet in the school room on a monthly basis.

The beautiful interior of the chapel lends itself to country style weddings with seating for up to 100, and the lawned garden at the rear of the chapel backing onto the canal is wonderful for photos.

We also offer baptism, which takes place in the context of our regular worship.

We love our church and our church family, and warmly invite you to join us at our worship services or at any of our fellowship gatherings.
